Do I need a referral?
Private patients do not require a referral.
Workcover patients usually have full cover providing their claim has been accepted and the medical certificate is current. Whether you are covered by Workcover Qld or a private insurance agency through NSW, you can access therapy services at OT Connect
DVA patients require a D904 form from their GP. We can bill DVA directly for your consultation and approved consumables.
Enhanced Primary Care (Medicare) patients require a GP referral and care plan allocating the number of visits. With an EPC you are eligible for a rebate through Medicare. You are required to pay the gap.
Can you see clients through the NDIS?
Yes, if you are self managed or plan managed and have allocation for occupational therapy in your plan you can receive services that are funded by NDIS
Can I get a private health rebate?
Yes, provided your health fund covers occupational therapy in its extras cover. Some funds reimburse for splints and casts and we will provide you with the necessary documentation.
We have Hicaps facilities to enable you to claim through your health fund on the spot.
